For more than 40 years, Serco’s solutions and services in the space sector have enabled environmental insights, and the Urban Twin Solution is the latest tool to further strengthen the company’s growing space sector in the region, following the launch of its graduate space programme and space sector over the previous two years.

The launch of our Urban Twin Solution is an exciting moment for us at Serco. With 50% of essential climate variables only measurable from space, we must look to the invisible infrastructure of the skies in the fight against climate change.

The collaboration with Murmuration and Michelin Mobility Intelligence brings together a unique blend of expertise in technology and mobility data analysis. This synergy is crucial for the Urban Twin Solution, as it combines spatial environmental data with mobility insights, providing a multi-dimensional perspective on environmental management.

Launched with technology partner Murmuration and mobility data partner Michelin Mobility Intelligence, the holistic Urban Twin monitoring service will provide Serco clients with a complete 360-degree environmental overview, helping them to use the latest AI data-driven insights and analytics to fight climate change at a building, development, project, city or giga city level.

Lakshadweep can hardly afford the ill fate of Maya Bay in Thailand, made famous by the Leonardo DiCaprio film 'The Beach', or of Ladakh, made famous by the Hindi film 'Three Idiots'.

Using satellite data, the Toulouse-based start-up Murmuration helps tourism stakeholders analyze and reduce the impact of their activities on the environment. Winner of the France 2030 plan and the Galaxie Award, the company now aims to raise funds to accelerate its development.

Winner of the Galaxie Award 2023 presented on November 6, the start-up Murmuration, founded in 2019, provides tourism stakeholders with information on the state of water, air, and biodiversity through satellite Earth observation data.
